ABOUT US

Kathleen Thumbs Up
Good time for a Guinness

Celtic Cross is a New York–based Irish-American band founded by siblings Kathleen Fee, John Vesey, and Ken Vesey, whose shared musical upbringing laid the groundwork for one of the East Coast’s most enduring Celtic-rock sounds. Blending traditional Irish roots with contemporary rock and pop, Celtic Cross brings both heart and grit to every performance — a fusion that has earned them loyal audiences from New York to Ireland and beyond.

Formed in the Bronx, the band’s sound grew out of Irish sessions, family gatherings, and the vibrant pub scene that shaped their early years. Kathleen’s powerful vocals and songwriting, Ken’s fiery fiddle, and John’s rhythmic accordion became the core of Celtic Cross’s signature style — one that honors the music they were raised on while pushing creative boundaries.

Over the years, Celtic Cross has had the great fortune to perform at many notable venues, including:

  • The Theater at Madison Square Garden, New York

  • PNC Bank Arts Center, New Jersey

  • IZOD Center, Rutherford, NJ

  • Waterloo Village, New Jersey

  • Sherman Theatre, Pennsylvania

  • Northern Lights, Albany, NY

  • Kenny’s Castaways, New York

  • The Harp, Boston, MA

  • Fairfield University, CT

  • St. Peter’s College, New Jersey

  • Iona College, New York

  • Manhattan College, New York

  • WFUV at Fordham University, New York

  • The Museum for Television & Radio, New York

  • Fox & Friends, Fox News Network

  • Joe’s Pub, NYC

Now, after years of touring and individual projects, Celtic Cross is breathing new life into the band’s legacy with brand-new music recorded at Curb Studios in Nashville. The new material captures the band’s Irish-American roots while weaving in fresh influences — songs about resilience, family, and the timeless connection between Ireland and America.

With new releases planned for March 2026 and bookings targeting Kansas City, Milwaukee, and the Newport Folk Festival, Celtic Cross is entering its next chapter with renewed energy, ready to bring their powerful live show and new songs to longtime fans and new audiences alike.
